Lucas is 6!

There has been so many amazing blessings that have come from Ben playing baseball at Northwood Little League, but one of the greatest is the families we’ve connected with. I honestly don’t remember what life was like before Beth Zow came along. She’s pretty cool and so is the rest of her bunch. Ben and Adam (Lucas’ older brother) are the best of buds and have played on the same team two seasons in a row.  So that means I get to hang out with Lucas a bit during all those practices and games. Let me tell you, he is one sweet kid. I’m not quite sure where he gets his British accent from, but I love it and take any chance I can get to listen to him talk! I do however know if I give him a 5 dollar bill and ask to grab me a water, I can bet he’s coming back with a slice of pizza for himself along with my water…I mean he’s smart too! 🙂

Well, I had the pleasure of doing a portrait session of Lucas’ family back in the spring and never had a chance to share these sweet images and thought it was only fitting to bring them to life on Lucas’ 6th birthday! Happy birthday, Lucas!! Have a slice of pizza on me. 😉
