Ali & Jeremy. Timeless Beauty meets Ruggedly Handsome. These two are so sweet on each other and I loved getting the chance to know them!
It was a big surprise to Ali & Jeremy when they had spent weeks planning an outdoor wedding at the Rock Quarry Garden in Greenville, South Carolina that they would wake to cold bitter temperatures and snow on the ground. These two handled the changes so well and even with the wind and cold, they decided to atleast have their First Look there. I was so glad they did because those are some of my favorite pictures from their day!!
I met up with Ali Saturday morning at a local hotel where she was staying with her family to find her composed and ready to see her groom. So after a few detail shots, her mother helped her get into her dress and set with a beautiful red winter coat, we headed for the Rock Quarry where Jeremy was patiently waiting.
Her dad walked her part of the way into the Rock Quarry Garden and from there she set to surprise her man and steal a few quiet moment with him! Ali was beaming and these two wouldn’t let go of each other!
With the weather not cooperating for an outdoor ceremony, plans were made to relocate to Donaldson Church of God. But just because the vows would be exchanged inside, the sanctuary had been turned into a woodland fairytale. So beautifully decorated.
We stepped outside for a few minutes for just a couple more pictures of the bride & groom and I will say it again…timeless beauty meets ruggedly handsome.
Of course, besides being ruggedly handsome, Jeremy is quite the class clown.
With Jeremy’s boutonniere in place and Ali’s bouquet in hand, the ceremony began and they became Mr. & Mrs. McKee.
You, of course, have all the typical extended family pictures to take after a wedding, but Jeremy’s cousins had a special request and I thought they might like to see this one showcased. Apparently this image was a re-creation of a picture taken of all of the cousins when they were little. I love the way it looks in black & white.
Ali & Jeremy had their reception at Sassafras in downtown Greenville. One of my favorite things about their reception was that their wedding cake topper had been in the family for 45 years!
Congratulations Ali & Jeremy!! May God bless you with a long, happy life together!
