Amy & Rodney

There is something so fun about reliving a sweet wedding day through pictures! Amy & Rodney’s wedding is no different.

I will never forget that Amy was in my first photography class at Greenville Tech and she was so genuine and kind. I’m truly happy that over the past 3 years she’s found her soul mate. Rodney is quite the character and has a heart of gold. He loves his lady! And well, he is such a comedian that I know Amy will spend the rest of her life filled with laughter.

Amy got ready for her big day at the Magnolia Manor bed & breakfast where she had stayed for the night. As she got ready and dressed in her gown, she was surrounded by two dear friends who took the time to pray over her. Amy was beaming and you could tell she was ready to see her man. So after a quick slip into her dress and shoes, we headed over to the park.

Amy & Rodney love the outdoors and chose to celebrate their wedding day at the Chau Ram County Park. It was a beautiful day surrounded by God’s creation. The waterfall was breathtaking.

Rodney, in perfect form, had to pose for the camera. 🙂 Love his attitude! But no matter how composed he was before that first look, when he saw Amy he was moved by his bride’s beauty. And she was beautiful. Not to mention, she was just as smitten with him!

Their wedding ceremony was effortless and peaceful against the sounds of the cascading waterfall in the background.

After the ceremony I whisked them away to this very shaky suspension bridge for some first pictures as husband and wife, and then they were off to sign their marriage license and join the party at the park shelter.

As the two of them were ready to depart and head off to to a cabin for their honeymoon, the crowd sent them down a path filled with falling birdseed! They were such good sports about it and I’m sure if Rodney looks hard enough he can probably still find some deep in his car.
