This wedding gave me a whole new perspective to the meaning of wedding photography. These images are so very personal.
This is my dear sweet family.
I was given the honor to be able to photograph my precious cousin, Rebecca’s wedding on October 2nd. As I went through these images after their big day, I wept. It truly is a gift to have beautiful images of your wedding day…not just for the bride and groom, but for all the people who love them deeply. The joy I saw on Rebecca’s face and the tenderness with which Eric treated her…those are priceless and I’m so glad we have these images for our entire family.
So, today I have the privilege to share some of those sweet moments with all of you. I hope you enjoy!
Friends & family, don’t forget to watch the slideshow at the end and if you would like to view more of Rebecca & Eric’s day, you may click HERE.
Rebecca might get points for coolest Bride as she requested her girls get ready at her & Eric’s favorite brewery! Check out this place! Tailgate Beer was kind enough to let these girls have run of the place!
It might have been a rainy wedding day for these two, but that didn’t stop this wedding venue from being GORGEOUS! Green Door Gourmet in Nashville was decked out for fall and their barn was the perfect back up for their planned outdoor wedding.
Possibly my favorite Groom’s cake EVER! Check this out!!! That is a classic for a Tennessee wedding. 😉 The Sweetest Day is responsible for this masterpiece (and the delicious wedding cake!).
Rebecca wanted a first look with her Daddy, which I just couldn’t help getting teary-eyed over! I love when Brides choose first looks!
And her she is having a first look with her handsome husband-to-be!
This wedding party rolled with the punches as the rain threatened on and off all day. We may not have been able to get them outside but with the twinkling lights inside the barn as a backdrop we got some great shots!
Such perfect details to this wedding day and all the special people that came around to share in Rebecca & Eric’s day with their talents…I love to hear our family’s dear friend, Mark Gallant, play!
Here’s some favorites from their ceremony:
Look at those smiles!! The new Mr. & Mrs. Herchenhahn!
And then it was time to PARTY!
In true Tennessee fashion, not only was the Groom’s cake in the shape of Jack Daniel’s whiskey bottle, but their gift to the guests were shot glasses filled with whiskey. LOVED THIS!
Congratulations, Rebecca & Eric!! Love you two!!
